Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the acquisition of new customers, negotiation of agreements, retention of existing customers, and development of strategic relationships with both clients and partners from platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora while at the same time keeping themselves updated with Etaily’s operational capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:


Client Acquisition
  • Primarily responsible for lead generation and acquisition of new clients as prescribed in the annual business plan.
  • Leads all pitch meetings and develops customized proposals depending on clients’ requests.
  • Works closely with Finance to ensure the profitability of costing proposals.
  • Preps contracts and works closely with Legal to ensure the correct display of terms.
  • Functions as point person of contact on public accounts (website, LinkedIn, etc.)
Relationship Management
  • Develops own professional network and relationships with marketplace leaders and managers who are directly responsible for new client referrals.
  • Explores potential incremental business with new marketplaces, technology providers, financial institutions, etc.
  • Leads negotiations in existing clients’ contract renewals.
  • Maximizing networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events, and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of potential clients.
Operational Knowledge
  • Understands and keeps himself/herself updated on Etaily’s operational capabilities to be able to properly communicate with brands.
  • Coordinates with the client onboarding team to turn over newly acquired clients and ensure a smooth start to the project.
 

Key qualifications:

Industry Experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with a preference for people who have closed six-figure ARR opportunities.
  • Experience with CRM systems and office platforms like Google Suite, Salesforce, sales engagement, conversation intelligence, and sales intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in a high-growth company.
Educational Background (Level and Type)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or any equivalent
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships 
Professional licenses, accreditations and/or certifications.
  • Google Suite, Salesforce
Languages
  • Filipino/English
