Senior Intelligence Analyst
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to sit at the core of Etaily's Signal Engine, the AI layer that transforms raw commerce data into strategic decisions. This is a builder role that sits at the intersection of data fluency and creative intelligence, where you will design the systems that make Etaily's intelligence compounding and proprietary, powering every Growth Strategist and brand engagement across the portfolio.
You will serve as the owner of the AI layer across Acquisition, Retention, Growth, and Advocacy, translating complex datasets into clear, decision-ready insights for business stakeholders. This person should be deeply confident with technology, managing prompt engineering, LLM workflow development, and agentic workflows to create massive operational leverage. You will work closely with the Data Engineer Lead to ensure accuracy and give Growth Strategists the intelligence to turn signals into narratives and make bold, confident moves on behalf of brands. The ideal candidate holds both analytical rigor and creative intuition, knowing when the numbers tell the full story and when they require deeper qualitative consumer insight.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve the AI layer of the Signal Engine across Acquisition, Retention, Growth, and Advocacy.
- Lead prompt engineering and LLM workflow development across Claude and other advanced AI tools in the stack.
- Convert raw signals from TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada into structured intelligence outputs for Growth Strategists and clients.
- Synthesize quantitative signals with qualitative consumer insight to surface unique growth opportunities that data alone won't show.
- Enrich and evolve the Brand AI Kit intelligence layer with updated consumer signals, SKU performance data, and strategic content direction.
- Partner directly with the Data Engineer Lead to ensure all intelligence outputs are completely accurate and decision-ready.
- Develop analysis frameworks that successfully identify the 20% of signals driving 80% of commercial outcomes.
- Stay ahead of global AI model developments and proactively surface new tools that create operational leverage for the team.
- Turn raw data signals into narratives, spotting patterns before they become trends to help the portfolio expand.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Data Science, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or e-commerce strategy, with a background supporting paid media or performance marketing teams.
- Proven ability to translate large, complex datasets into clear, executive-ready insights for business stakeholders.
- High proficiency with Southeast Asian marketplace data sources, specifically including TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada APIs, Kalodata, and MarketScope.
- Comfortable working with visualization and data tools, specifically Looker Studio and Supermetrics outputs.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where structure needs to be actively built rather than inherited.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLMs in production environments is a plus.
- Experience with consumer review mining and sentiment analysis at scale is highly desired.
- Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and multi-step LLM orchestration is considered an advantage.
